TIMESJATIM, MALANG – For those people who usually go for work daily, social distancing could be a scary thing to have. They will have less friend other than their family at home. And sometimes it could make them stressed and feeling lonely.

According to a psychologist of Brawijaya University, Dr. Sumi Lestari, S.Psi., M.Si, social distancing could bring a misery and make people have a bad mood all day long.

"It affecting their oxytocin hormones which trigger their emotion, anxiety, calmness, self esteem and their psychological ability," Lestari said .

Still according to her, to answer the issue, she asked everyone to have positive thought and put up a smile on their face. Never be panic and always be grateful towards everything they have.

"You could also do some indoor activities that you like and spend be grateful for the quality time with your family to erase lonely feeling during this social distancing rule," Lestari added. (*)
